Hey there Greyduck, fewlio, and nitowl. It's been almost 3 years since I made a post here and 4 years since I played ns with you all. I just happened to find some old e-mail's with the "over chatty penguins"
topic and thought I would cruise the old forums. Remebering those days when there was some free time to spent on a descent game with fun people makes me really miss them. I'm glad the forums still here, though new posts are quite old. I also want to get together with some of the old LMer's for old times sake. I'll check this post to see if you guys post anything.

Hello people of the old  . some of you may remember me when I used to play ns 2 years ago. I still get the mass e-mails, so I decided to drop a line to say hello [/me waves]. I may be making another appearance when i get my new comp running. Hope some of the old people are still here, I would mention some names but I don't want too leave anyone out just cause I have a bad memory. I loved playing here back than and hope too laugh it up with you n00bs again.

I do miss the antics of the LM crew. But it seems that since i was last here, NS has slowly been dying more and more. Such a shame for a game that I enjoyed playing so much. I myself have been busy changing jobs, starting college, and workin, workin, workin.

I used to play starcraft ALL the time for more than a year, then CS came along and that lasted almost 2 years(on and off). Ifind ns to be a perfect mix between the 2. It took me about 2 months of jumping from server to server with reasonable ping to find one that has a community feel AND skilled players willing to work together. Thanx LB for providing this joy called LM to me and all the other nubs that play :lol: . Much love for the crazy :ph34r:'s and Bill comm's of the NS world

It's issues like these that have me being thankful for what i have (and don't have).
The fact that most of you are open about things like this makes me feel like this is a real community and not just another server. I wish the best to the fonz,CFM,Gus, and all those who have to deal with problems that they have no control over. They say in the next 20-30 years we'll be seeing more advanced medicine like "nano" technology and medications that are "custom build" to target and treat specific individuals. Let's all pray for humanity and it's ever growing sickness called Life. much <3  to you all

I noticed that primal scream makes the turret factories got down in 5 shots compared to 8 using regular damge....didn't know primal affected bile....does it affect parasite too?

Too many games i'm in the people in Comm and the rest of my team just give up, but i fight to the bitter end.

Sad but tru. In that game the teams kept going back and forth. but i had had enough when we lost cargo, then all our nodes "cept base" and the armory went down, and the onoses kept coming cause they had eventually capped everything they took from us <_< . but it was a great game.

your not the only one who has done soemthing similiar....at least it was your own doing and not a RS kick. I usually make the mistake of upgrading as skulk in "hard to reach places" like a small cliff on a wall cause i want silence and rines are below. This has more then proven the fact that egging should be treated carefully. I can't figure out why people bind keys for things like chambers and upgrades. They ALWAYS forget what exact bind it was or accidently press the wrong one and end up dropping wrong chamber(sensery 1st :angry: )or even changing into wrong life form. So all in all, STOP USING BINDS FOR THINGS THAT TAKE LESS THAN 2 SECONDS TO EXECUTE! <_< . btw ...your forgiven

About the video card settings...
it's good to use the same resolution on your desktop as your game. and sometimes you can get better video performance by changing the color depth on the desktop,and if you have xp...stop using all the extra "fluff" that makes windows look all snazzy.

Welcome ......you seem to live thru things that others would die instantly.. one i saw,there was a lerk and a gorge. You start shooting the lerk, he runs, then you start pistoling gorge, lerk comes back and you finish off what rounds you had in your lmg in the lerk, he runs again. Then you rush gorge with knife killing him and managed to knife the lerk  twice as he flew right in your face. lerk had one more knife in him and you would of killed him too.. btw the 2 affore-mentioned aliens were regulars on the server and had a positive score that game. Keep up the good work. I'm glad to see you on my team when i comm

This website may be JUST the internet,but The server is more than that to me.
It's the only server i play on since i found it. :blink: . The reason being is that it always betrayed itself as being a community, in which has a variety of people with a descent amount of skill, as dark stated(below), Who are here to kinda get to know each other on There differnt playing styles and strategies.

the first time i played on lm, HD was there owning everyone and i thought hey this server has a lot of skilled players, and as HD is owning all of us repeatedly, i'll set a goal to get at least on par with him

I've improved my gameplay because of lessens taught by mr. nonstop lmg rush to hive"HD" and i've gotten Great entertainment from mr. Bill and n00blet the Crazy insomniac and others. :ph34r: !BILLOCATE! FTW :ph34r: . So i have to believe that this is infact a pretty retarded april fool joke, Until i see with my own too eyes.

General / Your Comming Style

I change my comm style alot (I like to try new things). The one i've decided on most recently is hitting there nodes early (if we get to a hive area,I electic res, NO turrets) upgrade weapons/armor FAST (sometimes results in 8min armory upgrade, but lvl 2 weapon/armor shotties are pretty damn good)

things i need to work on: Electrifying non essencially placed res, base defense, jumping out of chair, understanding the rines position in battle ("HURRY BUILD!!", when there getting rushed/harrassed by many skulks), Getting to into what rines are doing and forgetting to upgrade when and what i should.

P.S: I am open to comments about my comming style(s), In fact i would love to hear what you guys think.
