Yup... I used to be a walking lethality on infantry =D
When I first started I was poop and couldn't hit a guy right infront of me but once I re-adjusted the controls and got used to it then it became a blast ^^
By the end of it I was killing vehicles single-handedly with just a machine gun and grenades; even a fully manned behemoth tank didn't stand much of a chance =3

I've always wondered that myself... how the heck can you die from sleep deprivation? after a certain amount of days your brain just stops functioning and you go to sleep, you don't die =P
Heck do you think I wanted to risk drowning in a cereal bowl? One minute I'm eating breakfast on a glorious 5th day of non-sleep, next thing I know my parents are pulling my face out of a pool of milk and cheerios =3

I don't understand it though and I've never seen a free trial (mind you I guess the one off fee is hardly expensive...).
How the heck do you play in a game where the rules, the themes and pretty much everything are a blank book any idiot can write in? =P
The possibility of seeing badly made avatars (like really bad), zones and generally not knowing the ever-changing rules kinda puts me off a lil.
I dunno... I sometimes feel tempted to look into but nothing's ever really given me a decent jist of what it's like enough to make me want to find out for myself ^^;
edit: you should stick your 2nd life name on your post so anyone who does try it (think you need a credit card to do the 7 day trail or at least the FAQ mentions it) can say you referred them =3
The whole 'fixed choice of family name' thing sucks though =/

it's not really about ownership, it's about representation. There's thousands of people out there so the chances of something having the same name as you down to even the family name while small pretty much will happen due to the massive population of this lil world of ours =3
As for the link thing, the only intention of that was to link the name I use pretty much exclusively (like I said there's only been 1 other I know of and they seem to be extinct... they definitely don't show up on google) and linking it to a cow site... the only reason anyone would do that in my mind is to annoy me or make me look stupid.
It's misinformation and it's insulting and you know that all too well despite all the philosophical babble.

to get it a little more ontopic I wasn't always the only geminosity =o
Originally someone managed to find another geminosity a while after I had this name which surprised me because it never turned up on google when I was making sure nobody had the name and it still doesn't come up to this day. Luckily the previous Gem stopped putting anything on the net about 3 years ago and doesn't seem to have been since.
It had nothing to do with me... honest ^^;

One of my friends had a lot of pirates and his DC broke before mine admittedly; the laser went kabewm on his. Mine on the other hand never had any naughty stuff in it and the laser is fine... it just randomly resets itself making playing games impossible; especially when it decides to do it about 5 seconds after being turned on repeatedly =o

I'll agree Link to the past was the best but I quite enjoyed OoT as well... I even kind of enjoyed Majora's mask though it left a funny taste in my mouth overall.
The dreamcast is as close as I can see to having been the next snes with some titles probably being responsible for more sleep deprivation and dropped university grades than I'd like XD
I still amn't majorly impressed by anything on the PS2 really and much the same with the GC; I really wish the poor old DC had done better but it was rather fragile with most breaking after 2 years of reasonable play (I have 3 to prove it).
The N64 was good for a giggle and it does feature a few whacking great titles that really should've been remade for the Gamecube (dear heck do I miss Jet Force Gemini), but I guess we should count ourselves lucky we got Smash Bros on that account.
I still find myself wishing F-Zero GX was more like X or the original because it feels strangely flat for some reason =o
