Only one map though, and chances are it will get boring after a while.

yarr i played it, and yes it got a bit boring yesterday for me, but that was mainly "boredom" out of frustration i think :S I think it's very fun when most people know what to do, and when there's teamplay :D.

this is the .44 Wand, the most powerful wand in the world, so did I fire 5 or 6 fireballs? Now you got to ask yourself one question pal, do I feel lucky? Well do ya punk?

i like the game, only reason i got bored with it was playing the same map over and over.. pretty sure it'll be more interesting with more missions and stuff, and maybe bigger battles!

Eh, had some good runs with one other guy, got bored. Knifing people(katanaing!) is fun though, I have determined that heavy is best for corps and light is best for punks too. I got bored of the map and the game, hacking was a blast though(even though I didnt do much and it wasnt much). The game is no complete and there isn't any other maps, so of course people are going to get bored. I would recommend you all play it at least until you get one good game, then since you know what it is going to be like every time you can stop playing until the game actually comes out. If there were vehicles it would probably have more replay value as a demo because you can just go nuts with them BF1942 style lololol(which is why everyone like that demo enough to buy it).

Didn't really help me at all potterpotter. I just started playing the game then found that while playing because there was a few things I didn't understand. It didn't help me with what I didn't understand at all. Everything that I read from it you can figure out in a few minutes >_>.

Read the New Player Guide, seems pretty easy to pick up. Howeve,r playing the other night with Redford and others I think I'll try a larger server until I learn the map. A nub who has no idea where to go on a 3 man team doesn't do well for his teammates :p

I do like this concept. I may even take some time and try to create a map for it. I don't know, but if this becomes a free mod, LM should think about it. But I'm looking forward to some user maps to give more than the same map over and over.

It seems NS could learn something from the Dystopia Dev team:

Quote
Our work doesn't stop here. Over the next week we hope to have an update ready
for release to fix up a couple of bugs which snuck through into the demo version. After this our next biggest priority is to release more maps.
There's no 3 month hiatus, no down website for long periods of time, and lots of communication of what's going on.

More than the loss of newness and excitement of the NS world, I think people are just as tired of the lack of dedication the dev team has had to the community (sorry, tanke), and especially the seemingly poorly organized UWE and Mod team.

I'm just as excited about the DYS team's communication and enthusiasm as I am about enjoying the game.

LM dys would be leet.

note to anyone whos trying to play it or hate(s/d) it;

i know i didn't like it at first, but i kept on playing and learning everything, and it became enjoyable. most fun i've had in a fps in a long while. has a few problems here and there, can use this and that, etc, but every game is like that. besides, for just one map and a demo release, this is really nice.

Eh the replayability is too low with the current version, I say we wait until a real version of it comes out. Just to restate, you must try it and play it on a big server, fun just to have a taste of what is to come in the future.

This game is pretty awesome, but they really need to release some more maps. I'm still having fun with the first one though.

EXTREMELY team-oriented game.
