It is hard to learn. I played for a few hours and STILL have no idea what's going on

BTW watch out for mines, they're insanely overpowered (A scout drops a pack of mines, can kill a bomber with them, or even a bunch of fighters...)



Oh, it's also a bitch to get working correctly...

Anyway, it's a bit like Homeworld the fighter sim.

the game is abandonware and no longer supported,  its run by fans now, and all of them are "elite" so you pretty much have to figure it out yourself.

I don't think it will be worth it to get this, what with the steep learning curve and the lack of help with it, and now tubgirl. I don't want to take any chances on that...

I didn't get any tubgirl for the manual v_v, I think http://web123.s1.okayspace.de/MyAcademy/index.htm this is the manual? Don't know if it's outdated since I never played this game.

Okay, the game.


Play the training. Training 7 never works for me so don't try. Also, if you don't have a joystick this'll be very hard for you. So get a cheap one at the very least. Force Feedback is muy funo.

Anyway, the training will tell you enough to get started. Join the newbie server (it's really damn hard to get the game actually connected. Lots of stupid things to download. I'll post my instructions if you need it) and tell them your a newbie. If you have a good commander (which I've gotten several times) they'll tell you what you need to do. Then you just follow his orders, he'll buy you bombers, destroyers, etc, and shoot stuff

I love it.



Oh and one more reason to play: Look at their 'links' page.

Natural Selection  The kickass half-life mod. If you have Half Life, don't miss it!

I don't have a joystick, nor do I have enough joystick-needy games to warrant the purchase of even a cheap one. If I start to play the game, I'll learn to adjust with mouse and keyboard.

yes, it works fine with the KB, but a nifty MS whatevermaster would be cool to use.

yes,the tutorials are pretty thorough, altho i'm not done, and have yet to play an actual game. nice break from NS

The training wasn't bad, and i finaly got the controols almost down... but the online game isn't working. I'm not able to connect to anything. did the server die?
