What are the server stats based on?  I see Archi is number one and he gorges a lot, so is just about total points in a game.  BTW, I'm a humble 20  v_v .

the "unofficial" servers stats on some site is just based on Points.....so comms and gorges will probably score higher :p

this is the .44 Wand, the most powerful wand in the world, so did I fire 5 or 6 fireballs? Now you got to ask yourself one question pal, do I feel lucky? Well do ya punk?

I fear that people would play with stats in mind. I'd rather prefer that people just play for the fun of the moment than some arbitrary long-time goal.

"Don't kill the IPs yet! Let's spawncamp to increase our scores!" Yes, it's situations like that we have admins for, but if we can cut down on it by simply not tracking stats, so much the better I say.

I look on my stats with pride, as it actively encourages gorging and comming as opposed to just rampant haxoring. Although rampant haxoring helps, if you regularly pull a 40:1 ratio.

No no no, PLEASE, not K:D stats or anything like that.
It's simple, as lf said. People will play more for their ratios and skillz, like in CS. It is already a noticeable problem at times; let's not make it even more rampant.
I don't play for score, but I still notice it. If score becomes the main reason for playing, it would ruin the server.
Thumbs down.

Never meant that we should start a stats thingie, I just noticed we had one and was wondering what  it was based on.  As it is, I think that stats suck, especially those who care enough to try to improve them.  I laugh when I think of a particular person who has a rine in early game will quit each time he dies until he gets a couple of kills without a death.  I find it very lame and REALLY funny XD.  Personally,  I almost always have a sucky kill/death ratio do to how agressive I am and willing to fling my fragile little skulky into a melee of HA and HMG in hopes of weakening one.  I tend to have a lot of kills, but also usually lead the team in deaths.

Yes I see but I think the regulars here wouldn't abuse the stat rankings like that.

Being a regular/slotter doesn't mean that you have a perfect conscience, or play perfectly by the rules (although you should), or whatever.
What, you think... let's say, regulars on some popular CS server don't play for score just because they're regulars? I doubt it, although I don't know for sure.
Still thumbs down.

I do it on other servers all the time, so I'd end up doing it here too.  >:D
in additation to that, it also changes my behavior..usually im cool headed if i get blocked and die or something like that - when stats are turned on I get really pissy

Thumbs down.

Well for me, I don't really care about stats. It's not a way people see you, maybe your skilled but thats just not it for me. I rather have respect from everyone knowing you're a good guy then being skilled.
