What's Some Of The Wierdest Crap You Own?

 - A few chunks of rock containing uranium (radioactive, yes, some are around 16,000 CPM and some only around 4,000)

 - NUNZILLA!



 - Lots and lots of chemicals. Such as, Calcium Carbonate, Copper Chloride, Magnesium strips, and pure mercury. I'm also trying to get some Beryllium but it's damn expensive for the tiny piece I get. Plus, I don't know where to keep it where it won't flood my basement with lethal neutrons. You know, I don't even know what I'd DO with it. Maybe use it's incredibly toxic dust for nefarious evil?



Advertised as 'The World's Only Nuclear Powered Toy'. Makes a great conversation piece.

I literally burn through Mg like... well... yeah. I can get it real cheap-like though. A roll of ribbon is like $10, and a bunch of random shredded bits is like $8... No idea how long the roll is. The shredded cheese is so much fun to throw into a bonfire

I wish i had some cobalt-60 to stick at the bottom of a vat of water, just to stare at its cool blueness

It doesn't do anything, unless you consider alpha particles from Americium splitting atoms of ZnS something

I used to play with thermite and all that... now I play with much more scary things...

I would like to make fireworks but it's a lot of work and $$$, with a very crappy risk-reward system. I mean, take a bunch of time packing a simple mortar only to find out you need to remake it but put more titanium in it.

I don't really have anything weird to be honest
~looks at the carved skull next to mouse pad, a 'rampant rabbit' sitting on the shelves in it's packaging and the assortment of other oddities all over the room~

nope... nothing of interest in here.
Oh, and before anyone gets any ideas, the rampant rabbit isn't mine and hasn't been used outside of a party game where we had to pass a malteaser along the line using spoons held in our mouths at the same time as we passed the rabbit (turned on) with our knees.

i have exactly nothing weird in my possession. i borrowed an edition of Satanic Verses by Salman Rushdie that some might consider weird. it's actually just a great book so far. (it's  a really really really really bad title though, it's not like a satanic bible or anything. it's a work of fiction).

Probably my collection of useless/unusable data storage media. I have about 10 CDs that are either useless free things or failed burns, a couple hard drive platters, and a bunch of the actually floppy disks without the plastic case. :p

I plan on making a vest (chain-mail-ish) out of the CDs when I get enough.
