Mal : ah, that's rough man. Terrible time to get into the job market. Whatcha doing?

Well, I graduated with a degree in psychology, but somehow I ended up working in the Geek Squad at Best Buy (lol, I know a lot of people have a bad opinion of them, but the store I work at is on top of it at least). Now, that I've done the whole relaxing period, I started looking for an actual job in psych or marketing. So, hopefully I find something in a month or so (and it would be even more awesome if the new job paid for more schooling).

After L4D wore off sometime in early 2009, I didn't really play that many online games. I recently started playing them again (L4D2 and Shattered Horizon). I cannot recommend Shattered Horizon enough (if your rig can run it). Zero G and full 360 combat is pretty awesome. I play most of the big single player games (Bioshock 2, Dragon Age, Mass Effect 2, etc). And of course I'm looking forward to NS2.

As for real life stuff, I graduated from college in May 2009, which was definitely not the opportune time to find a job (Michigan). I plan on going back to school for a couple of higher degrees, but I want to get a pretty decent job first since it looks good on apps and resumes. But not much has changed. I still live by the university, so what I do is still pretty much the same as the last 4 years (just more actual working).

It was definitely pretty sweet. I just want to see more very badly. If the textures are really that nice (might be higher res just for the trailer), it's going to be amazing.

Sorry for the late reply. No, I didn't have keyloggers or anything of the sort. My comp was clean. Even if I did, they wouldn't of gotten any of my Steam account info because I hadn't played for over half a year. So it was just a random thing. Thanks for giving me my status back GrayDuck. I just started using Steam again because I finally bought Left 4 Dead.

Can an admin in the #lm group in the Steam community bump me back up to admin. My account got hacked a little while ago, and all of my friends, groups, statuses, etc were deleted.

Hey, a post! I've been pretty busy this semester what with taking 17 credits and all. So, I haven't been playing many video games lately. I have some interesting in getting Persona 3, but it's like $60 plus shipping on eBay.

Omg, I have been so busy with school: I have a French paper due this week, a philosophy paper due, an exam essay due Saturday (and a ton of reading in order to do it) and an outline for a psychology paper. Plus, I screwed up my shins, and I can't run regularly, let alone walk a lot right now. So, I haven't had much time for recreational things and couldn't even go out at all the previous weekend. Ok, that feels better (but not really, I still have to do it). Hopefully, I will have some time this weekend for TF2 among other things.

Well, I beat Portal and most of the advanced versions (two have me stumped). And I just beat Episode Two. It was definitely way better than Episode One, and if it was longer, it'd be better than HL2. You find out a lot of interesting stuff, and some really interesting questions were raised as well.

I played a mix of Episode Two and Portal today. They're both great. There have been some awesome scripted sequences in Episode Two already (e.g. huge things falling towards you).

Even better: Place the sapper on a sentry when an engineer is nearby but not enough to see you do it. He'll come over to fix it; then you backstab and replace the sapper.

Well, they took FF out of the game, so that isn't an issue anymore. Blast away.

I'll try to make it. It depends on how well my huge ass amount of homework goes.

I'm pretty pimp at the soldier. It all comes down to leading your shots well since the rockets do move slow. You will eventually get good enough where you hit people directly with them after a while. And as a soldier you need to know when to use the shotgun (basically in water or when they are a good distance).

For the pyro, you have to pretty much ambush people. The flamethrower is completely useless at midrange. You basically use it two ways (1) to completely toast someone point blank which is an almost instant kill (2) to just set someone on fire and finish them with the shotgun. Pyros are especially deadly if they are in a group of enemies and have a medic with them.

The spy is all about knowing your surroundings. You have to make sure there is someone playing as the class you are disguised as on the other team and that they're not in your vicinity. Cloaking is really only used to get behind enemy lines to make it seem like you came from the spawn point or to get out of trouble (since you can't attack while cloaked). After this, it is mainly getting good at aiming backstabs and using the revolver (really strong) to finish someone off if needed.

I've played as a sniper (I'm mediocre with them) and a scout (pretty much suck with them partly due to my horrible framerate when action gets heavy). I've also played as a medic, demoman, and heavy briefly, but not enough to get good with them. I haven't played an engineer yet at all.

Yay, a reply, lol. I guess people aren't that interested. For shame.

No slots yet, since no plugins at all.

Ah, yes, forgot about that part. Been a while, heh.

EDIT: I added Kodiac to the group.

Well, TF2 is out! I made an announcement in the Steam community to post here what times you're available. Once we get several days/times that seem to be possibilities, I'll post a poll, and we can all vote.
