I am playing in outland, as well as testing the Drenai and Blood Elves.
friends and family alpha test FTW! :D
Tell Blizzard that I am your friend, and they should let me play.

Hmm, I'm curious as to what people are doing in this World of Warcraft. I am still playing on Garcian on Mal'Ganis (just got back to playing after going the whole summer without).

Sucks for you. Awesome for her.

I need to get a new computer sometime in early 2007 (although possibly a laptop).

That would be a sweet movie. Although, it would take some doing to translate HL into a entertaining movie. It is a good setup, but you'd have to do it carefully.

Yeah, it's supposed to be way better than The Cave (I haven't seen The Cave, but people I know have said it sucked pretty much).

It just came out here in the US, but it seems it came out in the UK about a year ago (and the UK's version is supposed to have a better ending). Anyway, this is one of the best horror movies I have seen in a while (probably one of the best period). They did an awesome job building up tension at the beginning, and the interactions between the characters as the events unfold are great.

So, if you like horror movies, go see it.

but in Denmark we don't have colleges, just universities, at least not to my knowledge.
We use college and university pretty interchangeably here. Although there really is a difference, a lot of people say they are going to college and mean a 4 year university (although vice versa doesn't occur).

Anyway, I'm going to the University of Michigan. This upcoming semester will be the start of my second year.

Well I bought it several days ago (and beat it the day I got it). I didn't think it was going to be that short. Anyway, it was good while it lasted. It wasn't worth $20 bucks. The episodes should have been $15ish so they would be close to $50 together so they'd be equivalent to a regular release combined.

Kind of a spoiler (if you haven't beaten the end):

I agree about the ending part. It was ok fighting the strider, but it wasn't anything hard since you did that plenty in HL2. The repeated escorting was riduculous. The very end on the train was nice though seeing the scenery change.

I've used Macs before when I had to or they were convenient. I can't say I like them better than PCs. They don't seem as fast (but I don't know the specs for the ones at college). My uncle actually uses one and loves it. I just can't really get into. It just seems they are really made for looks and people who don't want to do as intensive things (i.e. media center type things).

It seems fine. The only thing that could be upgraded is the video card, but you said it wouldn't really be for gaming. Hopefully you have a PC that you'll take for gaming.

Sounds like you got a good deal. I know I am happy with my 6800GT that I got a couple of years ago. My system still holds up very will today surprisingly. I finally got around to buying F.E.A.R. (was such an awesome game), and I can pretty much put everything on high. It's a great video card.

Woot, a reply. Finally someone else who likes Tool here.

Yeah, The Pot is awesome because it is quite different, but I really like Rosetta Stoned because it is just so funny and crazy.

So, just wondering if anyone likes Tool and was waiting for the new album. It came out yesterday. I'm liking most of the songs, but nothing can beat Lateralus (or ├ćnima for that matter). Anyway, the songs take a bit getting used to, but some of them are very good after a few listens.
