-A revamped marine weapons system that was Homeworld2 fighter style

Adj, though the mere mention of that game makes me salivate, could you please expound on it's connections to the marine weapons system? Do you mean as in more specialized roles?

Is the max planes limit upped in Source?

There was a fix for it in HL1, I don't see why it isn't possible for another hack to be coded in to optimize the planes.

Maps will probably have to stay the same size, because if it were any bigger the aliens would dominate no matter what. Eg. Old Hera.

But yeah, no third race.

I have an ATI card, but have never figured out how to use those things. Can someone direct me?

EDIT: Found it, after not 15 seconds of looking. I'm a nub.

Eclipse, Ayumi, Veil, Nothing, and Tanith are the safest. They're the ones with the most stable, balanced gameplay.

Except possibly how Hamasaki wins the most easily sieged hive in NS award  :o

Cold Turn is on the direct opposite side of the map from MS, and is smack between two hives. It takes a hell of a lot of res to hold, and only one screw up to FUBAR the marine's siege base for good.

Launching an attack from Eastern is even more suicidal, with covered vents that drop into the middle of that room. You can't set up a crossfire in there. Same with the vent north of East.

All that needs to be done to fix cold turn is remove the glass from the RT box. No more glass, no more safe PG spot.

In the history of major console disasters, the N64 is right in there, alongside the Jaguar, MegaCD, Sega Saturn and the Lynx.

You totally discredit yourself by not mentioning the ABOMINATION that was the Virtual Boy.

Veil. I'm a KFS whore.

I did things like this for both Veil and NS_Nothing back in the day. Basically showing chokepoints and the best ways to exploit them, for both sides.

Google checks for the number of hits to sites through links as well as just straight hits. So, a link called "Geminosity" linking to an agriculture site will associate Gem with cows.

You don't need to kill the fades, as long as you have enough weapons to keep them at arms length.

Go for 3 nodes in the field, then drop their second building hive at 4:30. Start upgrading your armory at 2 nodes. It'll be done around 5:20, when you can start handing out HMGs, to force map control, push you to 6 nodes, and get the big tech item of your choice. With HMGs and level 2 weapons, you'll be able to kill the higher lifeforms and steamroll into their hive, rad-style.

ah we used to play 4 player goldeneye with remote mines or assault weapons for hours at a time.

then we went to perfect dark and the slayer "guide the rocket into their face from across the map" gun.  B)

i remember trying to see how many perfect sims i could take all vs me.

damn that was fun ^^.

That game was almost perfect save for the rediculously broken farsight.

Shoots through all walls ever with a built in wallhack and enemy-finder. Just plain stupid.

Can't wait to play this new build, should even things up overall, and make commanding on LM even harder.
