Yeah, so I  was bored last night and decided I'd try my luck at making a theme for Litestep. This is about 4-5 minutes work, I currently just have the general layout and an idea for the Geek Amp area. Comments and/or Ideas?

And for those who have issues with viewing T2K:

So what's Litestep? The frontpage doesn't tell you much, and I'm sure not going to sign up just to find out. I get spammed enough as it is.

Actually I've never gotten spam from them. Well anyways, Litestep is a custom shell for windows. Its not like style xp, windows blinds, etc. because those only "theme" the original shell. Litestep is an entirely different shell, which allows you to do some nifty things to themes for it. Best of all it's free ware.

Every time I've used a windows theme they ended up:

1) Causing irreversable destruction to pretty much everything they changed. Removing Window Blinds was like removing a tumor from someone's brain: after a lot of hard work and effort, it still wasn't completely gone.

2) Breaking or not completely working (Using another customized shell, I found out my start bar was completely inaccessible to use).

3) Being a general bitch to me about everything. "Change the window look!" "I don't want to!".

Pretty much they were more harm then help. Since I only spend about 30 seconds at a time looking at the desktop anyway, I never use them since :p

Yeah - Windows Blinds made me a little angry myself.  So I went back to StyleXP and haven't looked back...

...or at least I didn't until my hard-drive exploded  <_<

I can't say I've ever had issues with Windowblinds, Style xp, or LiteStep.
