Funniest Anime?

So, I was watching some anime and one of my firends asks me what I think is the funniest?  So I thought I'd pass on the question.


My Vote goes to Excel Saga... only they could have the main character die 4 times in the first episode.

the universe entity keeps bringing you back to life since you never really finished what you were supposed to do in the first place so ya that is how you die 4 times in one episode.

anyways flcl is great but as lf and gem mentioned dragon half will keep the whole room laughing till it hurts

Azumanga Daioh is also good, if you want some non-chaotic non-warped humor....

The slayers saga isn't incredibly funny, but it has a good blend of humor and plot imop...

slayers is fun but I wouldn't class it as comedy... unless you're watching the OAVs XD

For Slayers funnies you need slayer book of spells plus... the new one... that i forgot the name of ^^;
My favourite eps are jeffrey's knighthood and the golem or dragon ones.
I hear some of the latest ones even make fun of the matrix o.O

I mean just that walk *bewm*   *bewm*    *bewm*    has me rolling , and then theres the one hit punch kill..... and the evil robots heh, they look a bit fruity hehe! The seriousness of that guy in the suit is quite funny too because he's more serious than batman, even his jokes are serious!

the anime is still good, i like seeing mangas in animation even if they arn't as good in story as the manga
