I've actually been in more games where the marines won more often on mineshaft than some of the other maps on the list.
All the marines have to do is take Tram hive early on if its empty, and turret their way to double-node, or take double-node and turret their way to Tram hive.
If they can hold those two spots without many structural losses/setbacks, they can tech to HA and begin working on taking other areas.
