would just be helpful to see a list -- a few of the maps have really annoying low ceilings, with crossbeams to bump your head on that make it nigh impossible to glide straight down a hallway, essentially negating any function jetpacks might have in said maps...

so, which maps would you say are particularly bad for JPs?  bumpy, low ceilings, cramped hive rooms...

this post was inspired by my experiences with JPs in Ayumi.  It has to be the worst map for jetpacks, IMO.  I can't really think of a single part of the map you can comfortably navigate with a jp.  can't even fly high or far enough to evade a celerity onos on Ayumi <_<

Nothing, Veil, and Eclipse are the best JP maps, IMO.

Mineshaft isn't very JP-friendly. Too cramped, too much stuff overhead and to the sides and everywhere.
Caged is also rather bad iirc.

any hive that lacks an open front area or circle around(ie: co_faceoff hive) isn't a good hive for jetpacks, but i think not every map is bad for jps, since jps are really just to kill the hive and not aliens (you can solo any alien w/ a jp on or w/out, one lvl 2 hmg = dead onos), so mineshaft as lf said would probably be a poor jp map, caged is actually nice aside from gen to due the massive overhead setup in there.

Origin, nothing, lost, tanith, and hera are the best JP maps.

In that order.

why is everyone answering with the BEST jp maps when DZ is asking for the WORST jp maps?!

ns_caged
ns_hera
ns_lost
ns_mineshaft
ns_ayumi

are mypics for worst jp maps. but really, if you are talking about pubs, just go HA, easier to keep ppl together, and not so dependent on individual marine skill :)

sad thing is that the best looking maps are often the worst JP maps -- because it's the jutting out map details that look good but are easy to crash into =p

Agora is nice because it's very aesthetically designed AND has smooth and high enough ceilings...

most hallways in metal, viel, eclipse, mineshaft, and co_maps (ns_Nothing is good for Jp's except in cargo)
