Ever Have Your "off" Days?

Muh, yesterday was probably my worst day of NS, Holy_Devil got to witness it.

Anyone else have these days when you just suck? No matter how hard you try, you just suck.

I mean, i thought it was backwards day since i was alien, as was DHP, he was top of the scoreboard, i was bottom. I'm not saying i'm a fantastic player or anything, but i'm usually above the normal nub clientelle that LM and FSD have attracted as of late.

I had a week as the noob. Right after I had a week as the uberleet. I'd run at a marine, get blown to hell. I'd shoot at a skulk, get laced with lead.

I've mostly got Off-days i think - but then occasionally i rise from the dust (of nubbiness +3) and enters a pwning streak, but then some truly leet person shows up, and im back in the dust v_v

I had a major off day, or a series of them, a few months ago. I was completely pissed constantly because nothing seemed to be going right, and nearly every game that I won I would lose 3 more. I took a break from NS for about a week and was fine afterwards, just had to cool off a bit because my anger does effect my gameplay.

Best way to feel uberleet in NS 3.0: permagorge. Even if you never get any kills, with all the 'points' your rack up for dropping chambers, hives, and RTs, you're guaranteed to end up at the top of the scoreboard. Then taunt the marines about your uber score. They don't have to know that you're doing it while sittiing in the back of 6 OCs, under a hive, building a DC nest.

And it DOES help the team. Especially when some players ARE having good days and can't ever go fade because all the nubtards keep going onos and running into MS, so SOMEONE has to use their res to drop structures. *ahem* But that's not important right now. Permagorge. Yup.

for me, NS is almost completely about commanding, with other roles just to overcome commophobia. so my off days are when the aliens are good. my on days are when theyare running around, saying "HOW DO I BUY THAT XENO THING!??!". :S

Ah, but they do see who's at the top of the scoreboard on your team. Easy way to always tell who the comm is now.  

Also, totally off topic, but using that smily as your icon has caused me odd problems, civilian. Every time I see you coming at me as a fade and slashing me in half, all I can think of is a fade with a big smiley face on it.

And you don't have off days because you have l33t config h4x.

I have an "off" day whenever I play 3.0.  It drops my framerate drastically, the paper onos and fade will die to a bb gun, and is it just me, or are the enemies much harder to see in 3.0?  Seems every marine and skulk blend perfectly into the walls.

I don't know about "days", but I do have on and off phases.  There are some points where I'm always at the bottom of the score board and some points when I'm at the top.  

I think its because when I get good I constantly look at the score board and when I suck I stop looking at it.  Its just a cycle of pain and I have to figure out how to end it.

Esuna had another off day today, I killed him much more often than I usually do. Although he eventually broke out of his slum after permagorging for a round, so all is normal again.

I'm an INCREDIBLY inconsistent player.  a lot of the time my heart just isn't in playing, I barely concentrate, I don't really care about getting pwned, I rush at the enemy blindly, etc etc...

when I concentrate, I'm pretty good... higher alertness, better attention to strategy, etc...

I'm talking, difference between being 0 kills 8 deaths and 60 kills 3 deaths =p

i'm somewhat the same, but my K:D doesn't get as pwn as 20:1 , but still rather nice.
