I recently downloaded the demo for this game because a friend of mine worked on it with Kung Fu Squirrel. It looks like it's going to be fun! I've yet to play with anyone yet but CWAG is downloading and we're going to give it a go.

Hmm might want to hold off on the downloading as we can't figure out how to play multiplayer. You can make a server but it doesn't show up in the server list. Anyone wanna give it a try? (Figuring it out that is)

The graphics are sub par which is why I didn't post any screenies. They look around quake 2-3ish. But the gameplay (multi) looks like it will be really fun.

uh-oh... does this need gamespy?  I unticked the option to install that ^^;

I wasn't wanting screenies to go 'omg graphics!' (quake 2-3 or above is more than enough for me =D ) I just wanted to see what you meant by 'arcade shooter'.  I was kinda hoping for a 2d with 3d graphics side-scrolling shootemup (mainly because I've never played an FPS in an arcade so I don't associate things like doom with 'arcadey' ^~ ) but it still looks like it might be interesting.

Oh... and I turn off the emotes most of the time... I don't like my ^^ and =3 getting changed to those icky pictures XD

Hafafa, maybe you have to directly connect to the other persons IP? Or maybe someone just has a firewall.... hafaf , btw teh ICONS HAVE YOU! Oh yes I want pictars.

heh, i actually bought taht game for 15 bucks, or something. i'm into buying cheap games that i install, then quickly put away, never to see th elight of day again.

anyhoo. it's graphics are more unreal lvl. quite nice. but just another shooter, IMHO.

One thing that made me sit up is the engine though... they're on the 2nd incarnation of it now and it looks like something out of doom 3.  You can buy a 'Im not doing this for profit' license for only $200 =o
Tempting... sure you can make mods for the price of a game but unlike mods, you can give your friends your game (made with this engine) and they don't need UT2k3/HL/Whatever to run it!

III'm thinking it'd be best to see if I have the determination to actually complete a silly mod first though... no point in buying an engine just to have it rot =3

Well I'm not sure if you need gamespy. I downloaded it see. Then I was going to make a server there so my friend could actually see it. BUT YOU HAVE TO :DING PAY FOR GAMESPY TO MAKE A SERVER ON IT!!!!!

I don't know if you have to connect directly we're going to play around with some things when he gets home from work.
