Possibly due to nostalgia, possibly due to I can't remember any other video game music, but the music for Shamus, for the Vic-20, was awesome (it was basically a small loop of Alfred Hitchcock's theme song. Shamus was also the first game I ever beat.

It was a shooter, kinda. Somewhat like Berserker (IIRC).
What's a Vic-20 you say? It was YEARS ahead of it's time, DECADES even!

The computar is in the KEYBOARD!!!! OGM!

Full Throttle had some pretty well done and fitting music. Also, Return Fire had some classical musik for it's soundtrack, was very nice imo - it was a war-inspired game, so hearing Ride of the Valkyrie when you're flying a helikopter and Peter and the Wolf when you're in a jeep etc. is very satisfying :D.

this is the .44 Wand, the most powerful wand in the world, so did I fire 5 or 6 fireballs? Now you got to ask yourself one question pal, do I feel lucky? Well do ya punk?

I really liked castlevania Symphony of the Nights soundtrack. It was extremley varied, from well placed classic music, to crazy rockish boss fights. Lots of fun with that game.

music from quake 2...

I thought White Zombie did the Quake 2 music? I mean when I ripped the muziks they were all labeled as White Zombie... unless sonic mayhem used to be white zombie...

Rob Zombie is one guy, White Zombie is an entire band. White Zombie is Rob Zombie's old band and if I remember correctly they were a band before he joined.

TM does win, but apparently castlevania has an excellent score
MAC DRE: Cold Crest Creeper, a rapper that would dip-n-yoke quicker than he could pimp-n-smoke, flows  that hit your ears harder than Ike hit Tina. Forced to serve a Nickle but would never drop a Dime.
K.C watch out cause the Bay's down like four flats on a Cadilac.

Mega what now?

Actually, in recent memory

Hitman 2 choral music is SUPER DUPER RADICAL!
One of those tactical shooters had the BEST movie-esque music ever. It was either Rogue.. something? Or Operation Flashpoint.
