I remember dev linking his sig in IRC. I'm guessing he changed it to goatse for this special occasion, which I think was his discovery of this guy stealing/linking his sig (hence, "hey, i was using the sig").

Yea, I didn't explain the story:

This guy discovered my signature on another forum, and decided he wanted to use it.
So he linked directly to it.  I was playing around with cpanel, found the raw logs from the server, and saw requests for the signature from different forums, ones that I had never registered on.

I went to the links the logs gave me, and found someone using my signature there.  I got pissed, and edited the signature script so that if you were coming from one of the sites he was using it on, you got a goatse picture with text telling everyone what had happened.

One forum just removed the image.  The other nuked his entire signature.
