Can someone point me to a decent, free IRC client for Windows XP? And maybe a good FAQ as well. I would appreciate it.

almost anything but mirc
hydrairc or telnet for the win

Don't you have to pay for mIRC? Or that's what it tells me, at least.

mozillla comes with chatzilla and trillian has a nice little irc client as well.

Na, you dont have to pay for irc, it just recommends that you do.

when ur "trial version" is up you only have to wait an extra 5 seconds to connect, because to continue it just waits there saying ur subscription is up...
