Tell me good songs that have good beats that are great for listening to in a car :p

OUT:

 - Non-English lyrics
 - cRap music (The only ONE exception was 'Lose Yourself')

Just an example:

Ironman wins because it's got the nice poundy beat. Another good one is 'OK Go - Get Over It'. If you must have one more example, say, 7 Nation Army.

I like mainly older bands (Black Sabbath, Led Zepplin) but the problem is I don't have the time to find the good songs out of all 10 billion... sooo... give me a huge-ass list of songs like that ;)

Nearly any track from Static-X's most recent album, Shadow Zone, is great driving music.

Offspring - "The Meaning of Life" and "All I want" from their Ixnay On the Hombre Album, and "Staring At the Sun" from their Americana album.

Thats what I can think of off the top of my head without extensively going through my music collection. When I get back from school in a bit I'll go through and listen for some other possible good driving songs I have in my head.

For more recent music, I would recommend some sexcellent Rage Against the Machine.  If that's not your thing, get the Audioslave CD.  Seriously.

For a bit of older music....perhaps George Clinton and the P-Funk,  and Perhaps the Pixies.  Uhh..Blur is also cool.  These are the last two.  I promise:  The Darkness (crazy effing brits) and The Velvet Underground.

Unfortunately, I havn't heard all of Offspring's songs. Only albums I have at the moment are Ixnay On the Hombre, Americana, and Conspiracy of One. I'm still looking into getting the other ones, their older stuff is a bit harder to track down.

AC/DC-Back In Black
AC/DC-Hells Bells
Def Leppard-Pyromania
Def Leppard-Rocket
Judas Priest-Breaking the Law
Led Zeppelin-Black Dog
Led Zeppelin-Immigrant Song
Led Zeppelin-Rock and Roll
Queen-Bohemian Rhapsody
Queen-Fat Bottom Girls
Queen-Princes of the Universe (Highlander was so bad)
Queen-We Will Rock You
Rage Against the Machine-Calm Like a Bomb
Rage Against the Machine-Guerilla Radio
Rage Against the Machine-How I Could Just Kill a Man (cover of Cypress Hill)
Rush-Tom Sawyer
Ween-I'm Waving My Dick In the Wind (not so much hard beat but fun to drive to)

Most anything by AC/DC, Zeppelin and Queen are great for driving in my opinion.

I don't know if you like Iron Maiden but pretty much anything by them is awesome!

Trust me, I work at circuit city in the car audio dept.  Linkin Park meteora and Reanimation are some of the best car music cd's you can get.  (especially if you have a subwoofer or low end speaker)  Meteora is good to just chill too, and some songs are angrier than others, so it's not all just softer music.  Reanimation is a good mix between rap, rock, and techno.  It has a lot of awsome beats, and some good lyrics, and singing.

Actually I think Feel the Noize is one of the best of all of them... it's got a great beat, loud drums I can beat my steeringwheel to death with, and lyrics I can shout in the car :D

Yeah, the one I never knew the words to :( I always thought it started 'lights over water...' It's something completely different. I only figured it out after I remembered it mentioned something about dark side of the moon :p
