Ack! mein laptoppen ist kaput!

yea, so my awesometastic laptop died on me. It went happily, though, after an epic NS battle.

I had a Gateway M675XL , 3.6 ghz processor, a gig of DDR ram, an 80 gig hard drive, a Radeon 9700 /w 128 megs of video ram. a full-sized keyboard, and a 17 inch diagonal smooth-finish LCD.  *sigh*

I was playing NS when all of a sudden the keyboard was almost too hot to touch, I scrambled to get it unplugged, but it was no use, the screen froze, and never again would it boot. My mobo went "liquid-state" on meh. *sigh*

R.I.P

Now im back on my old desktop, 3.2 athlon, 2 80 gig hd's and a GEFORCE 4 MX 440! *sob*.... with a gig of DDR

lol, the lappy was my ONLY graduation gift, and i built the desktop over 5 years with nothing but my own money that i made at summer jobs. (come to think of it, i spent some of that summer money on the lappy too, about 2000 worth)

Ya, I got a crap 9800 XT that was supposed to be made by ATI, but wasn't. Then TigerDirect would not take it back. When I changed to a 6800 Ultra my score in 3dmark literally doubled. Beware!

it was the right product, and it is teh awesome... now i just need to get a job so i can upgrade the mobo on my desktop, and the proc.

in other news... MY LAPTOP IS BACK!

time to install Matrix Online, and plaaay!
