A friend and I are making a deal for an XBox bundle, and I'd like to know how much you would pay for the following, or how much you think it's worth..

    * XBox Console
    * 2 Controllers
    * DVD Remote and Receiver
    * Halo 1 and Halo 2
    * Return to Castle Wolfenstein
    * StarWars/Tetris Disc
    * The Simpsons Hit and Run

"Why aren't you wearing your eyebrows??"
Everyday you're here is torture to my heart; reminding me of how you'll never be mine..
..I'm going to miss this feeling.

If it's new/very good condition, I'd pay up to 175 for it all. Stick around 150.

I don't really get how you're all coming up with such low prices. I looked up the items and compiled a list.  These are the lowest preowned prices I could find.. These could drop even more depending on the condition of the items.

XBOX preowned - $140.00
Halo 2 preowned - $24.50
Halo preowned - $13.50
Wolfenstein preowned - $8.80
StarWars/Tetris preowned - $9.00
DVD Remote & Receiver preowned - $13.50 (can be gotten for around $20.00 factory sealed)
The Simpsons Hit and Run preowned - $12.34
Controller used - $18.00

That adds up to a lot more than $150.00

Well, do you want to sell it, or just have it up for sale forever?

I would agree $150 max, $125 is probably what I'd sell it for just because selling stuff is a pain and I'd rather see it go (hopefully) quickly than be a thorn in my side until it sells.

He's going to buy it. So he wants the price nice and low.

I think $125 is kind of low. I thought that $175 for a max price was ok. It is 5 games and two controllers. That is very cheap considering the Xbox is what $150 now new? It also depends on how good of condition everything is in. If they're gently used, $175 is a good deal.

Correct Mal, maybe shoulda made that clearer, oh well.. anyway, the asking price is $190. I could haggle the price down easily by pointing out a few things, just wanted to get a little input on this so I could see if he was trying to rip me off or whatever.

You're forgetting two things:

1) "pre-owned" prices are jacked WAY up from what they are actually worth used. Stores sell pre-owned stuff to make a big profit, people sell used stuff to make some cash from something they already have.

2) All the extras don't mean much. All people see is either "Xbox", or "Xbox and some stuff".

Keep in mind that the XBox 360 is going to be unveiled May 13th, and will probably be on sale by christmas. And it has more processing and graphics power than ANY desktop computer money can buy.

But remember that once that comes out, a normal XBOX gets super cheap. So just wait it out a few months.
