So we were doing hide-n-seek on altair for RS night. MrBill didn't know that the comm was supposed to get MT, then run around with default weapons and hunt aliens. So like he spams all the starting res on mines, and runs off with the rest of the people. I rant at him and then get stuck waiting in MS for res to build the obs and get MT.
By the time MT was going I didn't have enough time to find what a "good" spot in the map, so I said screw it, and hid behind the obs in the corner facing the wall:
Turns out this was the best spot ever. All the other marines were dead before the half-way point. A skulk casually ran through MS quickly looking around. Later a gorge and lerk came by and actually looked around a bit, even standing near the CC alcove. Finally the lerk came back yet again, near the alcove. All the while the whole team is laughing their ass off over voicecomm at the hilartity of it. :p I lasted without being found nearly to the end, at which point I crashed.
So in short: "good" spots = lews. "screw it" spots = winnar.
I declare myself the hide-n-seek champ :p
