I'll elaborate on what I was talking about then: As esuna pointed out in IRC, if they left ns.org running while working on uwe.com, uwe.com would be outdated by the time it was running. My point, though, is that the NATURE of ns.org does not change, only the content. Of course, threads, replies, and new users will be added over time, but unless they apply an update to the forums themselves, all that is rather inconsequential. What I thought was this:
They could've taken a backup of ns.org, and worked on getting it to work with uwe.com. Once they had THAT down, they could make the full transition with a fresh backup, what with taking down ns.org and all that. Of course, I may be wrong, but this is how I see it.
