I thought, "Don't tell me he has already beat it." I plan on starting it a little later tonight, but I already new about Barney giving you a crowbar. I think I saw the pic in the little book that comes with the collector's edition.

dudes, the dog robot was the coolest thing ever, i so want one.

AND slicing zombies or setting zombies on fire in ravenholm and watching em run around screaming is oh so satisfying

Infact my computer isnt fancy. I lag whenever a enemy pops up. I dont mind the lag but it could be better without it!...Anyways i just got to middle of ravenholm. I want one of those Dog robots too. It seems like it lifts it arms with a string lol

I really enjoy the radio chatter from the combine troops.

Also, the bridge scene rules with awesomeness.

i think that if i slowed down for a bit from my curent pace there is a level of depth here that i have rarely seen, for example did any one read the clip board in black mesa east?  huge backstory help right there.

i've completed the game, in 1 sitting since it was avaible VIA steam.


my favorite parts are the city17 battles, with your squad and you fight against striders and what not, it REALLY brings the feel that your in the game, and with everyone being like "with gordon we can win" it makes you alittle cocky when taking the striders on

I auctaly love the whole part where your in the body casket thing, and traveling through the citadel, its really amazing.

And yes, the Citadel was great. It was just... damn, something else eh?

Mine would be throwing phermones up on a ledge with 2 combines and the next minute see 2 bodys drop down a hill...the bodys being the combines

Also in one of the secret storage places with merchy water a zomb0 pops out..so awesome.

Well when you were playing fetch with the dog was pretty cool. I accidentally threw it out of the place (don't know if it does this on purpose though), and then Alyx said, "Sweet." Pretty funny.

x-s-z that happened to me too but I found it easier to move the cars rather than the ship :-) Those electric balls in that area are annoying I just found myself punting them into the sea all the time with the gravity gun.

I only tend to play every Tuesday and Thursdays so I`m not rushing through it and I`m on highway 17 at moment.

Darkholm was great though. That vicar was spooky but I`m sure he was invincible.

After that bit where he lets you through thegateI watched him for a while. He blew up some tanks near him and I thought " O hes dead" next thing hes laughing and still shooting away at the zombies.  :blink:

I could go on and on about parts of this game that were superb, it just seems my kind of game. Plus when you see people going on boards at Steampowered saying they are stuck and knowing you figured it out without asking feels good too. :-)

haha thats hilarious! Only thing that happened to me was I didint know you were supposed to open a gate to get passed this part on Highway 17. I saw a small opening so i tried blasting the car through with my gravity gun and it fell into the sea...

Throwing bodies at other people with the gravity gun.. is just awesome.  Getting rides in those things is another cool thing  That last battle was the coolest thing also.

After the weaps strip is when I had the most fun. Just busted up EVERYTHING

I found it funny to see the sniper take down the zombies, as they fall to the ground.

I think the grav gun was the funnest though, yuo could do ANYTHING with that sucker!
