Down in texas there have been sightings of a strange canine-looking animal that doesnt fit the descriptions of any animal so far. some people think it's the so-called Chupacabra.

http://www.earthfiles.com/news/news.cfm?ID...ory=Environment

Interesting read. From the description, it's skin is hairless and dry like a dead animal, it's got tusks protruding from it's lower jaw, it's toes end in Claws, not nails, then when it was shot dead it didn't bleed. Oh, and the tip of it's ear snapped off when the guy tried to pick it up to take better pictures. yeah, snapped... ears shouldn't snap off on animals that have been dead for only a few minutes...
This is going to be some kind of reunion, isn't it?

Honestly, it was probably by far the best thing for the beast.  Hairless land mammals are rarely very healthy in the wild.

Definitely looks pretty odd, although it could be some genetically mutated fox that used to live near some kind of company chem labs where they dump their waste in the river. We should investigate and see if there's any way to mutate ourselves into something more interesting just for the hell of it.

mutated, maybe, but also remember there are a number of them sighted with quite a large range and they've been here apparently for several years.

they're multiplying...

They can mutate and multiply all they want, they're still thousands of miles away from me, so I think I'm safe if they ever go on a flesh-eating rampage through the cities.

the only 3 things about it that actually matter:

if the skin was so brittle, and the beast had been shot with a .22, there SHOULD be an exit wound.

The woman said that it had been shot an hour before she found it. The blood is allready quite congealed

This "hairless" animal quite obviously had hair in patchy, grey clumps.

In dead animals, the eyes pop when rotting

in dead animals, blood leaks, but is congealed

in dead animals, the hair falls out in clumps, and leaves the skin grey and emaciated, brittle, and powdery

in dead animals, the skin and gums retract when they begin to dry, making nails and teeth seem longer than they are in reality.

the simple explanation: this woman was playing with roadkill.

I'm going to need more wild speculation somehow involving space aliens/zombies/satanism/radioactive waste/genetic testing/cthulhu mythos/all of the above before I can really be happy about this topic.

Im going with the theory that Super secret ninjas are developing secret animals of unconsivable destruction co-inciding with pirates. They will have the sneaky sneakyness and agility of a ninja, along with the ability to self destruct and kill everything withont 10 km area, and the awsome power of a pirates ability to cuss and be resorsfull and such.

The fact they theive only got ONE so far, shows that its very sneaky.

My thoughts on this: And I quote.. "THEIR COMING FOR US!! ARRRRG!" *trips over land mind*

Hows my comming? PM!

That thing does look freaky. And the body does look like a kangaroo with a deer head.
