Half-life 2 Review In New Pc Gamer

The issue of it is December 2004 but subscribers are getting it sometime this week ( I forgot if I renewed my membership but if I do get the mag this week I will put up some you-know-what unless someone beats me to it).

All of this and you might think the game would actually come out soon but there hasn't even been word of a Gold release and the battle between Vinviddi(sp  :help: ) and Value goes on so who knows (I know f00l doesn't  :p )

It must be lies. It's never supposed to come out... :lol: Well, it could be true since Valve supposedly submitted the last versionn to Vivendi to see if they will accept it. But then there's this battle, so if they PC Gamer did get to review it, it doesn't mean we'll get it really soon.

PC Gamer published a review of Counter-Strike: Condition Zero long before CS:CZ was released in stores.  We know now that this was Vivendi's fault.  Considering the court battle Valve and Vivendi are having, I wouldn't be suprised if Vivendi takes their sweet time in getting Half-Life 2 on to store shelves.

That said, I won't be reading the review until after I play it.  PC Gamer's DOOM 3 review had a few minor spoilers, and I'm not taking that chance with HL2.

They spoiled the fun of a not-very-secret easter egg for me.  Not enough to ruin the game, but it did but a damper on it.
