My school doesn't block much surprisingly. I can visit every forum I can think of along with all of the regular sites I frequent. :D
It's twice as clear as heaven and twice as loud as reason.

Anarki, try translating the site (LM) from german to english, even though it's already in english, if not, try caching it through google.

if that doesn't work, go to www.pureprivacy.com (if it's not blocked) and check LM through that.  That website lets you browse any site through it's website but it's kinda slow.

Are these filters automatic, or are we so famous that schools see us as a threat?

If that fails bess proxy, the proxy my school uses can be avoided by typeing in the full name of the forum.  For example, instead of going to www.natural-selection.org try going to www.natural-selection.org/forums/index.php?  It works to get around those blockers quite well.  This also works for lm.

there was a thread somewhere with a bunch of links that help you go around proxies, also as we (ncr/gorgerush) are getting a servar i can toss up a proxy or two for you.

oh, i made a "bridge" in pontifex with exactly 1337 broken links (the train can't cross as there is neither deck nor anything else over the water)

At my school, beyond working proxies, getting the IP of a website and entering that instead of the website name allowed you to circumvent their filters. Try that.

take apart a hard drive, and superglue a needle at an angle, making contact with the hard drive at an angle, and just barely touching, also make sure the angle is such that the needle is pointing the direction of rotation.

this makes for a wonderful SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECH

A friend of mine recently created a statement that's been proving to be true: "If you want to get an education, go to scool; If you want to learn, read a book."

"Education" meaning a school facility of some sort 'officially' marking that we've completed whatever courses we've taken; I can literally complete all of the classes I'm in (well, not the P.E. classes) by reading the books and taking notes on them.
