Yesterday Was Very Harrowing

So I dodged a big bullet yesterday, let me explain:

I have a 40 gig hard drive that I crammed full of anime, but zerwalter and I forgot to make it fat 32 instead of NTFS [windows ME doens't like NTFS] so I went over to my homies house becuase he lives down the street and has an XP computer with more than 40 gigs free so I could put my HDD in as slave tranfer the stuff to his HDD and the format and mount the drive with fat 32 then put the anime back on the HDD not to mention steal all of his music/porn/my NSP + counter strike folders

but I :Ded up, hard.

I accidentally bent a pin on his HDD putting mine in [well not really bent, but broke off at the jumper], and it just so happens his mom who manages a chain of supermarkets was opening a new store in 3 days. Everythang for the new store, from which employees made the cut, to what and how much was ordered, pretty much anything and everythang pertinant to the store was on the hdd  o_O looks like TAK accidentally interupted an eight [8] million dollar business deal.

luckily I summoned my someone else on my street who was able to sodder the connection back, then we reinforced it with some super glue then put the chip board back into the HDD and lo and behold it worked  :ph34r:, but if it didn't I was going to get that exact same HDD off the net for about $160 and put the chipboard from that one into the one I broke, but we didn't have to do that becuase the long shot worked.  <3

out of the whole big story, why does everyone gravitate towards the porn?

you guys have no idea how screwed I would have been if that HDD wasn't fixed by today at 12:00 becuase that data was time sensitive

the store would have been delayed and alot of money would have been lost.

but we could have fixed the HDD becuase the backup plan would have most definetly worked.

The entire point of this whole ordeal was the anime. The whole "porn thing" was just something Daubert thought might be a plus. The anime is what he really wanted! (I think...)
