you're only saying that cuz you want to be a viking, coming from the land of the vikings yourself.  ADMIT IT!  ninja pirates are better than any kind of viking, however, vikings run a close second, as they are another kind of specialized pirate.

my vote's for the cannibals.  cuz you know that once they start to get hungry, it's all over.   And besides, you can sink ships, even dinosaur mounted ones, and submarines are already sunk.

That makes no sense whatsoever, although I'm sure it would if I followed the storyline for this particular comic. However, the lack of sense in that comic severely outweighs the entertainment of ninjas and pirates in it, making it not entertaining.

Thats sluggy freelance for you. Unfortunately for that to make sense I would have to post up about 4 years of comics. Like you said though it was the combination of ninjas and pirates that made me post it.
