I've always thought the RAMONES were great car music. Also the TALKING HEADS, especially STOP MAKING SENSE.

In the newer realm, the RIVERDALES have a good thing going and so does SQUIRTGUN.

Dennis Leary - I'm an asshole
Damn it feels good to be a gangster

On a more serious note, Front line assembly is pretty good

Ooh ooh.  A new submission: Cypress Hill (self-titled)

that...is awesome stuff.  it's incredible how much hiphop has gone from awesome to suck in the past decade.

Tool is pretty good to listen in the car. Really though, any band I like I can listen to in the car because I like them.

Speaking of Tool, has anyone heard A Perfect Circle's new album? Any good?
It's twice as clear as heaven and twice as loud as reason.
