I loved the fact you could break everything.
When you say hl2 credits is when I was like "Wait! what happened!? it tells you nothing!"

so, I actually had to THINK FOR MYSELF to figure out the ENTIRE story line with some sort of backround information. Wasnt THAT bad

Hows my comming? PM!

Since im only up to the mines... my greatest moment was in the hovar craft running over those stupid silly combine soldiers airdroping from a line in front of you, or getting off the crazy transport ship and jumping into your area and shooting at you..

And for some reason i had much fun beating dead bodies with my crowbar off ledges and whatnot and watch them fall :p... hmm also throwing grenades next to a corpse is ultra fun to watch >:D

I also must add a depressing, sad part of the game is hearing those poor souls being zombified scream, brought chills down my back. But then you light them on fire and laugh your arse off at them running around in flames

Nice. I should use the crossbow more since it is so strong. Yeah but it does look like a hot iron rod. But that couldn't be safe to reload. :p

Patience.  You'll see.

I have to be one of the few who, really, REALLY loved the ending.

Except that that applies to everyone, since the ending is the friggin funnest part of the game.

Apparently its a peice of one of those industrial iron cables they stick inside cement walls. That's gotta be painfull to have one of those heated come screaming at you...ouch.

I love how the cross-bow is made out of junk entierly...even the ammo! Just goes to show what kind of weaponry the rebels have to work with...well..besides the stuff they steal from the combine.

I love how the rebels pick up the pulse rifles the combine drop and go "Nice!", rofl.

So far my favorite part is riding around in the pod at the beginning of the citadel. It was awesome watching everything. And it makes you wonder how Gordon could do it seeing all those soldiers, striders, gunships, etc.

Those were humans who applied for the soldier program of the combine but failed to meet the specifications or failed the tests, so they were genetically altered to become slave workers instead.

Personally from what Dr. Breen is always going on about, evolution and such, i think those white creatures were humans. They've been altered somehow in some sick twisted way to become "trans-humans". They may very well be the same thing that is inside those combine uniforms. After all, breen calls them the "trans-human forces" in nova prospekt.

Also, in some parts of the game you can see a painting on walls that depicts a monkey evolving into a human, and a human evolving into a combine soldier. This means that Breen's and whoever that big white blob thing he was talking to in that screen before he attempts to make his getaway are intent on converting humans into those...things...whatever they were. The process may very well be why they are sucking the planet dry of resources. I guess we'll find out how this myserious force Breen answers to reacts in hl3. Personally i'd like to see valve fit our good buddy Corpral Shepard into all this too, that'd be awesome.

DAMN i love this game, it makes you think so much every time you uncover some little detail!!

I just hope Shepard is brought back in an expansion to kick even more ass then the first time!  There's more story then meats the eye in hl2!

Oh, btw.. those vehicles on the assembly line, you usually see those on those big transport flying ship things, their probably where the combine go inside of to get moved around

The high pitched, low quality gunfire in the prison from the combine soldiers when you were watching them get tossed and mauled by the giant antlions on the security cameras freakin rocked, especially when it was happening down a hall or two so you hear the feedback from the camera AND the echos of the gunfire down the hallway :D .

And also the echoed gunfire and explosions in City 17 are cool.
