A few week's ago i re-installed steam and NS to see what was happening, and it took me lees than a week to stop playing it  :huh:

WoW and The Godfather take up my time on the computer now, how little that is now.

I'm in the final part of my transition and since i have 2 months off before the going gets tough, i've had enough time to reassemble my computer's needs and reinstalled Steam and to my suprise a new NS, so i hope to see you guys on the server while im here!

Well, i havent been on any Lunixmonster servers or even the forums for quite a while, and for good reason. I have just finished taking care of some paperwork formalities and am now starting my steamfitters trade. The downside, is i have had to uninstall steam from my computer in doing so. No, not because anyone told me to, but for my own career sake, i need to be able to focus on getting my tickets before i have a chance to take a break. I did fine in school but i protested my homework while in my finaly 3 years of highschool, i graduated, but with a C average, in which justified my own lil protest but im not gonna start with that, lol, not again :wacko:  .....In order for me to be able to do any well in my life, i have to get this trade, and i will get this trade, but monkeys in-game apperance will be gone for a few years.


To Lighting Blue, Admins, and Reserved Slot of the LunixMonster.....


  I've had a blast playing so many times with you guys, so many memories, thank you all for putting up with me while i try to go to you WP  ^_^  ..........Thank You Admins for letting that beauty of a Reserve Slot stay on top of my head, and Thank you Lighting Blue for letting me join an awesome community.


You all kept this monkey sane when he needed to be cheked in......


I lost my mother to cancer 2 years ago, and playing with you mosters online helped me in more ways than you guys may think, and i will never forget that......

The caps are because i am frustrated with reg night Low, this is the second time by my count that i couldnt get in because the password was not posted, i have no idea why, yeah, probably someone forgot.

Nope, Java IRC dont work, my computer doesnt run some programs for some reason i cant figure out yet, and IRC is one of them.

Im still wondering if IRC has become the Need To Know Only discussions?

General / Whats going on?

More and more mods are going to be released soon for HL2, and with BF2 out there now, with WoW and GW, Steam has alot of enemies out there.

Summer is ending soon, if there is talk about turning to a new game, i dont think its a good idea, but if it be, then at least wait till the end of September to see, by then everyone who has been on vacation and out for the holiday's will be back, if not, then i'd agree HL and NS are dying. If being the case, what are the possibilities afterwards for a different online game?

ready to be shocked, i know some are..............this IS a part of our lives.....period....no if's ands or but's....guess what? Your posts from your playing to discussions...yeah...they involved your own free time on deciding what to do with it. We're all gonna remember belonging to a kickass community and some interesting matches, ex, i remember a non fighting game which we we're testing limits and capabilities and theorys....the one i remember vividly is when the entire marine team welded me to death....LOL....i wish i had screen shots. I discovered, and i believe everyone else there, that the HMG with no arms lab upgrades can kill and onos in one clip.

If you guys dont consider this a part of your lives, well obviously thats your choice, but i know for a fact you wont forget about NS or some topics discussed or some matches played, compared to other communities i have the most fun playing here than any other game i have....besides guildwars...*cough*....

Summer always has and always will draw people out from their computers, whether it be the warm weather, or the amount of people out and about, plans being made, vacations, you name it, summer is mainly the time to do it.

Many other things could be the answer as well, BF2 for instance, is like a new, better version of NS, without the aliens, in war, with real time weapons, vehicles, tactics, ect. Other games might be a factor, such as World of Warcraft, which, if i was paying to play online, i'd better be damn sure to get my money's worth. I dont pay for any online games, which is what i've loved about online games since i've started playing them.

Unless the goverment was Directly under attack i dont think they will be going to martial law anytime soon, my god i wish they did in canada, lol. I could officially sit outside my house in a rocking chair cleaning my gun, cuz i wouldnt go nowhere.

Terrorism is a problem thats happened in the world a long time before it hit USA, where bush and his administration coinphrased the word "Terrorism" the same way Trump with, "Your Fired", they are both embeded into our skulls because we heard it over and over and over and over. They associate Terrorism with Fear, they are spending Billions on a war that will be bigger than Vietnam when its over, they repeatedly say Terrorism, people go out and buy things labeled to protect them from Terrorism, goverments work in interesting ways.


I just hope Bush doesn't **** up his talks with North Korea, seriously.

Hit Reg seems better to me, the hits are hitting right around the spot their supposed to from my sight.

My speed for my ping i can only say is from my newly aquired router.(Which brought my ping down and now it stays steady, finally)

As far as the shotgun issue, yeah their we're a few bad shotgun sniping situations i've had, but in the size of the maps and the general areas where this is happening, is 20 - 30 feet away, which a shotgun should still be able to pack a huge punch that range. I never understood why they had the falloff shotgun, especially when all the maps dont have that much length of area a shotgun would need to loose its power like that, though thats just my opinion.

I think the patch should stay.

well, as most of you know, i get some rather large ping spikes when im in game. The other day, my friend came over and we had a few others over too and threw a LAN party, and wouldn't ya know it,i dont own a router. My friend on the other hand, does, and as soon as my internet got plugged into that lil beauty i never saw ONE lag spike while on steam, or GW, which means im out today to get a router, so monkey can get his commanding skills back and play without lag, FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My favorite part of this movie had to have been when he met Freeman down in that basement and got to meet a few toys and we got explanations!.....also how he made his first throwing bat knives. Overall great movie cept it cut near the end and we could only hear the sound

The movie wasn't revolved around the aliens like all other movies, the Alien movies, the Predator, throughout the movies we learn more and more about the aliens, i repeat, "movies".  This "movie" was about survival, and they just made it lol.

Im happy how this movie stepped aside from the "alien" standard in movies, the reason i think they didnt explain alot of things, well, spielberg, because unlike jurrasic park, where they already knew how the mosters would act, in this movie they didnt. All of the sudden a crud load of lightning strikes, the thing gets up and starts going maniacal. People running for their lives with you know what all over them

It was more of a suspense movie, we knew what they were but we had no idea what they were, the ending, well, i thought it was alright, i liked the blood farms they started to create, and how the humans got their chance because of the bacteria and viral entities in our air which we've survived from for a loooooooooooong time.



good movie, but yeah more in depth would be nice, perhaps the next one, if its to be.
