Maybe I wasn't clear enough. Let me use a simple diagram.

Where the X is a player spawn and the [ ] represents a box or other visibility blocker of some sort. If all the spawns were behind boxes, that would be fine. As it is though, say people spawn in those two locations. You have the whole countdown time to put your crosshairs right on someone's head, and as soon as the round starts it's just a matter of who has the better ping to the server for who gets off the first shot. I don't have any fun being shot at spawn before I can do anything. This is also why I think awp_map is a horrible map, whereas awp_city is fun, because all the spawns are behind something.
