My Senior Prom Night

I kept some of you in IRC (actually, I think only bacon_flaps really) in suspense as I mentioned I was going "to the thing" this/last night, but I wouldn't say what. Well, my Senior Prom is what I had gone to, and I have a few pics to share.

First, is me sporting my rented Zoot Suit style tux, with the hat and chain and tails. Overall, I was very much enjoying the outfit, very 1930's gangster-ish and it actually looks really good on me.


Next is myself and the two friends I went with (Didn't have a date, neither did they, so we all went stag).


Of course, going stag doesn't mean you can't hang out with the ladies.  
Off to the left is a good friend of mine that I met up with.


Overall, I had a really great time. I absolutely loved the outfit, and got a number of comments on it, and am especially glad I went with the red vest and tie instead of the default white (there had been a couple people in suits very similar to mine, but I was the only one with a not-white or black vest). Very, very schway.

Hehe. That poster came from a (now) very old issue of Nintendo Power, and I had put it up when I was into the Pokemon games (the first ones for GB/GB Color). Now its there so I can look up at it and remember how fun they used to be. Its odd, been about 6 years since that game first came out...

wow very freaking nice dude, i remember when my dad wore a zoot suit like a year ago too a dance he went to since hes into ballroom dancing. Now makes me want to either go to my senior prom in a zoot suit as well, or some other type of old 20-30's type thing. That is if my date will be okay with it, IF i have a date. If i dont, i dont have to worry about anyone telling me what to wear lol. Though i do have to say, id have to find something that goes well with my long hair, dont know if a zoot suit would or not, agh the decisions for next years prom, since i didnt go my junior year, 2 weekends ago. Yes im a junior in high school, oh yipee, and im a geek loser . Grimm is like the pimp of geeks now.
