CS is just notorious for attracting the dregs of the gaming world. Not that all CS players are bad, obviously. I think it's just the fact that a lot of PEOPLE are bad, and a lot of people play CS, so you get a higher number of idiots. I mean, there are, what, like 2000 unique NS players in the world? Something like that? I haven't seen the numbers lately. And there are about 50,000 unique CS players. So if ten percent of NS players are worthless smacktards, that's only 200 people. If ten percent of CS players are worthless smacktards, that's 5,000 people. More than everyone who even plays NS. Thus, the problem of more idiots on CS pubs than elsewhere.
Maybe that's not the reason at all, but it sounded good. And honestly, I don't want to spend all day explaing to people that we REALLY DON'T allow swearing on our server, that map exploiting REALLY IS bannable, that we enforce RESPECT for other players (there's half the CS community banned right off the bat) and god... I spend enough time in NS watching suspected hackers. In CS it's practically a way of life to hack.
No thanks, I'll stick to the passworded server full of people whom I trust to know and follow our rules.
