Well, I figured i better live up to my title.

Hammers
She could have knocked me down
with the sound of her voice, as it
Flung hammers at everything, and
Destroyed
everything they touched
though she spoke to me, I survived
save one hammer, that collided, and
Shattered
My heart as she

walked

away

Ouch
No more broken hearted desperate pleas
from me, cast down upon my wearied knees
your treacherous mistruths, my soul do sear
your misanthropic deeds wound like a spear

not naked will you find me, as before
eternally safe, behind this dungeon door
not ruled by regret, nor cowered in fear
protected from darkness,no fear in here

my hand moves slowly, magical to see
empregnating each page, a piece of me
all that is left of what never could be
these frail pages are all you will see

sunlight has no more place shining at me
than laughter at a funeral should be

Purer Snowflakes

Purer snowflakes
Never did fall from the February sky
Tumbling as they gently fall to their watery demise
But with no bearing, their destiny picked by fate in winds disguise
As it blows their course awry

For the ground they fall to is inhospitable, you see
The ground is heated by human calamity
and when to it their tender bodies fall
too late it is for them, no help to have at all

All this, never could their mother who dropped them have seen
and so she does drop her children, Filling with newborns the spaces other had been
Thousands at a time, more than even she can know
And watches, with obstructed view, as they fall to the grime below

But even though sullied
Their Father looks down with care,
and with his warming love
Lifts his children, to the clouds above.
