The next few days are going to be pretty boring because my classes have nothing to do.  I bring my laptop around because i'm fed up with the crap they give us in the labs (the number of times they crashed without me saving...i don't even want to think about it).

I was thinking of sticking a couple multiplayer games on it that all players would play on the same computer (like worms or pocket tanks)

I have an Intel Celeron 300 mhz computer with a 'NeoMagic' 4 MB graphics card; 256 mb of ram.  Any suggestions?

How about Liero? ever heard of it? lol

It's basically a realtime deathmatch of 2 worms that you can dig through dirt (but not rocks) and you shoot a bunch of different guns and bombs and flamethrowers and stuff at the other worm, and you have a grappling hook, and all projectiles are affected with realistic gravity (because this was originally a science project for a team of college students). All in all, it's a very impressive and addicting game :)

BTW, it's a DOS based game

[EDIT] I just realized that there's also CTF, 'Kill'Em All', Game of Tag, etc. gameplay modes [/EDIT]

You should try out a game called Generally. Search on Google for it, i'm too lazy for it  ^_^

well this game wouldnt work if ur offline but .. SHATTERED GALAXY !!!
i got it on my wireless laptop when this comps busy doin other stuff  ^_^

shattered is like starcraft but online multiplayer type :D

A friend of mine is writing a version of Liero in Java! It is cool and I will link you to it when he has a better version (right now he is working through some severe performance issues) Other than that... you should try Go! (oriental board game [no guns or FPS element :(])

Its not that hard to play go, its just hard to get good at it.  The most important skill as a go player is reading ahead, imo, and you can only develop that by playing more!

I can teach you a bit, if you prefer.  we could play on steam (i prefer Kiseido because it has excellent teaching tools)
