College!

Well I'm heading off to college in a few months and it made me slightly nostalgic.  I got to thinking about all you LM folks who got my though my first two years of high school.  I'd like to thank you all for that.  More importantly I remembered you guys were all about my age.  So with that what college are all you LM nubs going to.  Me I'm going to the University of Washington.  Is anyone close enough that we could get a NS game going just for old times sakes?

Maybe not entirely relevant, as I live in Denmark and that we wouldn't be going to the same college then :p

but in Denmark we don't have colleges, just universities, at least not to my knowledge. I'm planning on beginning to study Philosophy and Religion(no not theology, religion) next year, with philosophy as my primary and religion as my secondary I think (perhaps similar to your major and minor I don't know).

This year I'll do my military service (just exercises and some basic military training in a camp, which I have to do eventually anyway, might as well do it now I find, alternative would be to go to the uni right away..) and get somewhere to live for when I study and then hopefully also settle down in it for a bit.

NS both helped me and hurt me in high school. Twitching to shoot moving skulks made my handwriting a lot faster; on the other hand, my hands got cramped up easily. Oh well.

I'm going to be at the University of Michigan.

We use college and university pretty interchangeably here. Although there really is a difference, a lot of people say they are going to college and mean a 4 year university (although vice versa doesn't occur).

Anyway, I'm going to the University of Michigan. This upcoming semester will be the start of my second year.

I can't decide the first one is near my house, it's not that old but I know for fact that it's good and it's part of that laureate group thingy (dunno if that's a good thing).

The other one is like far away from my house (an hour on bus), it's also good but it's older therefore having much more prestige than the other one.

I only have a few months to decide

An hour by bus isn't far away. The college (or whatever it's called) I'm going to in september is an hour away by bus too. And that's pretty close, even by danish standards (Denmark is a country where you can travel from anywhere to anywhere by car in only a few hours).

Oh right, Universities here don't have dorms. So you go, take class and then back to your house. So it's two hours I lose where I could rest/study/go out
