What? Vinnie is nub, vampires get stat bonuses and all you have to do is bite someone every night to not become "omg vampire sun hurts." Go unarmed too, you hit so fast and knock people back crazy amounts so damage doesnt really matter for the reason that you cannot be counter-attacked. Fun game.

My first elder scrolls game, i've never been too big on the single player rpgs but im loving this

Fewlio posting his ini so people with crapcomps can play! Found it on some forums a week ago but can't find again due to every website making a 12 page guide to tweaking oblivion. The location for putting your ini on XP is ...X:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Games\Oblivion
You will have to take the values from the oblivion_default.ini in your game folder and paste them over the following:

uVideoDeviceIdentifierPart4=902546081I suggest you don't edit oblivion_default.ini also, because if you edit the oblivion.ini and want to revert back to the original values you will have to find someone to send you the file.

Don't forget to change the .txt file to .ini, for security reasons board doesn't let me upload an ini.

i got told by some guys to get this game. plus, now that i know the weakness of netherlitches to candy based violence, i will move it from the meh list to the perhaps list.

Actually, the candycane sword can't damage it, since it counts as a ghost. Had to whip out my silverware for that.
