ok in game I had a short dissicussion abour the game freesing for some of us at random time just for a second. It was suggested that its and ati bug but it seems like I only get the bug on this server. I rarly play anywhere else so I may be mistaken.

so what im looking for is more info. the problem, the fix, exc.

as I most often have the lowest ping on the server i think i can rule out the network connection.

my video card is an ati x800xt

also while on this topic every time I play on lm my catlist (ati driver) setup wizard pops up. any one else having this proplem.

I get momentary hangs too, but I'm on a Geforce 6800 Ultra. It seems to have started with the most recent client update.. and it only happens towards the beginning of joining a server. It's as if something is being loaded while the game is playing? And then once it loads it doesn't do it again.

Does it happen throughout your gaming, or just in the first few minutes, like mine?

Try ati_npatch 0 and ati_subdiv 0 . Also try upgrading your drivers @ ati.com but before you do that use DRIVERCLEANER. Google it.

i get the same problem, and it usually happens when im attacking a com chair or ninjaing a hive. then i get smacked by whoever happens to be there. ill try this to see if it works.

<EDIT> im using a ATI 9600 AIW, by the way

I thought this thread had died and no one ever replyed to it....I was wrong.

and ways my problem seems to have fixed it self with the swap to AMX.
