Friendly Fire Poll, Take Two

I closed the other topic because we believe the results to be inaccurate.  The question is not about making a permanent change to the Lunixmonster, it is about turning friendly fire off for a week or so to see if the gameplay changes for better or for worse, or doesn’t change at all.  At the end of said trial period we would evaluate and discuss the results (wins / losses / gameplay) and make a more permanent decision from there.

It should be fairly simple to make a plugin that forces FF on for GLs even if FF is off. As in, the only weapon that would do FF would be the GL.

That would solve the main problem we have FF on to fix.

but honestly...  do you think it will affect anything at all?  The thing that affects marines not winning is people not being a team.  After playing on the vet server for a while, i've found this out.  And yah, the vet server is full of arseholes, but they can play marines at least - either that or they just aren't as leet as lunixmonster aliens are.

The NSA vets server is 16 players large, and I assume that is the one he is refering too.

I'm sorry but that is far from the truth. FF has been on for a minority of the time the server has been around.

I'm sorry Malevolent but that itself is far from the truth. LB has wanted FF on for the majority of the time the server has been on, but the option to turn it on outside of tourney play has only existed for the minority of the time.

Hence why I have the instinct to fight any changing of the FF
