yeah i'll have to look thru the changelog again. malev showed it to me a little while ago but i cant remember what's in it.  :D

*edit: changed my mind... WAS gonna show you a different one (i'll post that one tomorrow) but i wanted one that was more closely related to what i have felt about all these current betas...

Ironically, as soon as I caugt the words 'complete sentances' there, I had to re-read both sentances 3 times before I understood them; even though they are currently perfect english.

Back on topic, I just want you to know you are absolutly brilliant blaq.  I wish I had caught this thread along time ago, every one of these was increadibly funny!  :lol:

thanks for the compliments, all! i appreciate them!

i read thru the changelog again and had a couple chuckles at it. i'll be posting the comics i made after i run out of the ones i made yesterday  :D

as for today, this is something i haven't personally felt about shotguns (i can never hit a damn thing) but i read about ppl whining about it often. i've also been shot by them a lot. so here goes...

as far as i'm concerned (i'm talkin from SOME experience... not a lot mind you, so dont flame me if you personally like MC first...), this is the only advantage to early MCs

The only upgrade chamber that is really worth destroying in a hive most of the time is the sensory chamber...  MC chambers in a hive don't really DO anything (until 2nd hive starts going up) and there are usually around 6 DCs on the map at any given time that it is first chamber so they are ussually more work to kill then they are worth.

Basicly if you see MC first in a hive, just back off and build up outside, becuase you know the response will be faster if you are attacking a hive with an MC in it.

here's one that made me laugh when i read the change log

i've never understood seige cannons. first, they magically destroy things using sound waves. then, they magically travel thru walls. now, they magically ONLY hurt alien buildings! these immense magic sound waves that travel thru walls do not hurt marines at all! amazing...

Actually, the siege cannon (despise the model) does not actually fire anything. It creates a massive gravity well inside the structure it is targetting, which causes all the air nearby to rush in. The sound you hear is the blast of air coming back out of the well after it disperses. :p
