Why did you do that, out of curiosity? What about Hitler do you find amusing?
Being german by descent, I find what he did disgusting and horrid, and I see no humor in it at all.
Perhaps you can explain?

Well, oh humorless one, it's something called an 'anachronism' - something out of its place in history; an example being a dinosaur wearing a wristwatch. A picture of Hitler just has no place in a framed photo gallery, hence the humor.
Now, I'm not sure if you're familiar with the act of laughing, but I'll try to explain how to do so in as simple a manner as possible - here is your laughing checklist:
- A tightening around the corners of the mouth; perhaps an upward movement. Think of a parabola with a positive concavity.
- spastic facial animation
- a sudden, uncontrollable mass of air coming out of your mouth in short burts that could sound anywhere from HYUK HYUK HYUK to HA HA HA
- Amusement.
- Heart attack
If you suffer from at least three of these five symptoms, you might be a laugher.
