dont tell me its not about the gifts, thats precisely what its about. If it werent for the presents who would take the time to make all that food, put up with family, travel, and all that crap? i sure as hell wouldnt.

Rise of nations, a new bible, this book with plans for all sorts of crazed electronic projects (EMP, Plasma jar, Laser bounce listener, ion torch, etc.)

Really am enjoying the time spent relaxing more than anything though.

Ha, that's what I thought, but then I thought that it would just be your name or a variant; so then I thought the thread is pointless. Then I actually looked at it.

right then  i graduated from college a week before xmas. but i have say the highlight was my grand mother giving me a huge-munguous check for graduation and xmas together.  as well as seeing the family again.

so it looks like i am going to buy a car in the next few days:)

i also feel good about giving money to various charities and noble causes. it was well worth the cash. i hope that the small contirbutions i have made make someone have a better christmas than low.

Same as bacon, I got gift cert and a coat. I normally wouldn't mind. Except I've gotten a coat every year (as the best gift of the year) since I was like 12 or 13, maybe earlier I can't remember. So my highlight was being really pissed at my family for never actually putting thought into getting me things.

Hmm, no particular highlight. Well actually, I got a letter on Christmas Eve saying that I got accepted for the dorm in Sønderborg, which means I'll save fifteen hours on transportation every week (1.5 hours every way five days a week), as I won't have to commute. And I'll get SOME kind of internet back. I guess that was my highlight. And my sis came home for christmas, I liked seeing her again.
Presents include Norton Internet Security from my parents (gotta keep precious computer safe when I hook her back up), a stack of comics from my sister, and a pound of black noodles from my best friend (the black colour is real squid ink - yum! Weird crazy stuff you can buy in Hamburg...).
