Today I was on the net. Something happened to my desktop. It became a html page. If i tried right clicking on it then properties it wouldn't be the regular display screen where it would say Themes|Desktop|ScreenSaver|Appearance|Settings.  I already tried solving this myself. I ran a full system scan on both Ad-aware and Norton Anti-Virus 2005. I had no virus's or anything. I think theres a script or something thats triggering some command to load up this html page as my desktop.Anyways Could anyone help me fix this problem

posting OS and stuff helps too btw ;p but:

start - settings - control panel

display settings, can edit your background from there, should work.

try turning off active desktop.

He got it, I'm thinking its the Web tab.. uncheck everything there
