Try adding it, then closing steam, then restarting steam. Sometimes it just won't stick if you don't do this. I think steam saves your changes when you turn it off, and if you just shut your PC down normally, it doesn't do this. Chalk up another wise programming decision to valve.

I am having the same problem. Favorites are wiped every time steam is shut down. Using the history list works about as well though.

Yea i've had this for a while now.
In  favourites > Change Filters > Remove NS and just have all games, should work.

I use HLSW now anyway.

Funneh, mal

Aye, I had this problem some time ago as well. All it took to fix it was to run steam, add my favorites, and then quit steam. From then on, I was good to go.

hafhafhaf win

I myself have been aflicted with disapearing steam friends
MAC DRE: Cold Crest Creeper, a rapper that would dip-n-yoke quicker than he could pimp-n-smoke, flows  that hit your ears harder than Ike hit Tina. Forced to serve a Nickle but would never drop a Dime.

Sorry, but while the dimensions on your sig are just right, it's a little big. See if you can compress it a little to get below the 22kb limit. -lolfighter

Agh... I want to remove that sig, and yet I can't.  Being a mod on the ns forums is starting to bleed into everything else.  :help: (btw, your sig is too big!)

I've found that the Favourites list for Steam (with your favourites for all your games) doesn't delete itself, but if I launch NS first and go use that favourites screen, it deletes them!

So I've taken to using the general Favourites list now.

I havn't had any problems with my Favorites list in Steam, but one thing that has been bugging me recently is how my filter is automatically switched to Counterstrike: Source if I leave it on normal Counterstrike when I close the program. I'm sure they do this so people with CS:S don't think they got ripped off when they go to play 'CS', but I've yet to buy any of the deals yet. Nothing major, but annoying enough to mention.

I think it's just extremely subtle (yet persistent) marketing.
