Curse you people and your money having ways. I'll be getting it soon as I can afford it. No great hurry though, since all you get at the moment is CS:S. Which is still nice, but not the main thing I want it for.

har. spent past couple hours playing cs:s and yes it DOES own. ALOT. all the new maps on source = mmmmmmmmm

Yeah CS:S is freaking awesome. Played a game earlier with Grillkohle, Anarki, and Narfwak, along with a non-LM member friend of mine.

its very sexual in the graphics department, and the gameplay is almost the same and just as much fun.

Though de_chateau....that water tunnel is purty but it cuts my fps in half lol.

We need some sort of unofficial lm server for this methinks

and I love how anarki says "the new maps are pwn" then gives us a screenshot of him playing on dust [although kudos on that ratio]

Yes but karma physics engine is horrible compared to the havok physics engine...

I mean, cmon...how does an avril make a truck do a triple backflip on impact anyhow?? Silly epic.

Yea, the ragdolls in UT2k3 and 2k4 don't act as normal bodies; They bend and stretch and contort in ways a body normally shouldn't.

The ragdolls in Source are real nice, the bodies don't pop into the air and then tumble. If a guy is standing with his back to a wall, he'll hit it with a bit of force from the bullets and then slide down it, or if he's running, he'll crumple to the floor. In the huge firefight pic, I was one of the last to go down, some guy got me by shooting through the hosties, I'm the terrorist with his arm going onto the curb, not the one cuddling with the CT.
