and ABS - Wouldn't the bubbles throw it the crap off?  The original graphic is rectangular.  An oddly-shaped  graphic like that wouldn't mesh well with the bar to the right of it, it seems  o_O   Although I'm most likely wrong....

The original is a gif with a transparent border around the blue area that overlaps the gradient on the page, only difference with mine is I have bubbles/penguins in the transparent border so yeh, yer wrong :p

Truthfully, I severely doubt that any of ours would line up (look at the bottoms and tops and the bevels therein).  Getting those right WHILE getting the gradient right would be a VERY lucky thing indeed <_<

I'm using firebird and it lines up perfectly, but when I checked it in IE it doesn't match up at all.  ick... well here's an IE version anyways.

hmm... I think the main problem is the top and bottom, while the one above should work great with ie it'll look ick with any Netscape-based browsers. I made this one which cuts off the more annoyingly obvious bits; it's still IE biased so it should look fine for them but with the transparencies I've added it should hopefully look less horrible for NS-based browsers too (though the gradient is slightly different between the two browsers =s )

but wow... the gradient difference isn't as obvious as i thought on NS =o
