Silenced fade is great fun, but I wouldn't do it with MC first. An MC first fade HAS to go celerity to have a decent chance of survival. You do a lot of blinking in and out and back to the hive to heal and then back again. You've got to be faster than a swinging crosshair, especially when those shotguns get out on the field. But for second hive MC, silence can be hilarious. Mostly because no one expects a silenced fade. So they start getting hit and turn to say "WHAT THE--" just as they die. Much amusement is had by all. (well, except the dead marine)

I love MC first, and it works on LM.. its just rarely tried.

Oh, and silence fade will give most marines nightmares. Especially if you can sneak them from the rear.

Esuna always gives me nightmares

I just recently realized that celerity affects your blink speed, I've always gone for adren. That made a whole world of difference for me ^_^ My fading skills have doubled at least from the speed boost.

It's more economical, energy wise, to take celerity. As strange as that sounds. With adren, you still have the same slow blink speed, and you have to hold it down a wee bit longer to get up to full speed, and then you start slowing down faster and can't fly as far. With celerity, I can blink down even the longest of halls in one tap, if I angle the takeoff just right. You save so much energy by not having to keep boosting your blink every few seconds. Plus, a celerity fade bunny-hopping along (and not even blinking) can outrun a skulk.  :o

Anyone play the server today? Just one long run of phase rushes and hive relocates.

Does noone use their ears anymore? Is it selective hearing? And are some players afraid of the red stuff on the minimap and thus have to run from it?
