Rick James was found dead yesterday sometime around 9:50 by his housekeeper.

The songwriter had been recently re thrust into the spotlight by the antics of Dave Chappelle, however he was subsequently more famous for bringing us cool songs like "Super freak" in the 80's.


His death was believed to be from natural causes.
